read discussion below. anyone enjoy walking around the corner to the lesser known maria's pastry shop? i have found the goods most times fresher and the ricotta filling killer-ass good. and as for the Sfogliatelle--which are personally a favorite-- they tend to be all flaky/tenderness, succulence, substantial.

where do you guys get cheese? well, if you don't want to break the bank, i mean. how can you not love formaggio kitchen(s), but i can't get out of there without spending what i would at a nice restaurant. anyone have success with mailorder cheese?
