Having perused all of the suggestions for Italian, I still wonder where I can find a great Italian restaurant that
a) is relatively quiet (I don't know why so many NY restaurants insist on supplying the soundtrack to my dining life)
b) has great pastas, espescially the basics like garlic and olive oil or a seafood linguine with a good tomato sauce
c) can make a great chicken vesuvio (or maybe it's just called rosemary chicken - but definitely served with rosemary potatoes that are hopefully not greasy).
