ISO really fresh/homemade pita bread in SFV or...?

llyons56 | Aug 31, 2003 07:15 PM

I am so tired of getting thin, dried out pita bread, even at Middle Eastern markets. Are there any places where one can get really fresh (i.e. made within a day) pita that taste like those you get in a restaurant? I guess I'm hoping there are places that sell pitas that taste like they were "hecho a mano" like tortillas. Even those at Papa Cristo's seemed tough in the package. I live in Van Nuys so looking for something on this side of the hill. Thanks, Hounds!
