Ise, great sushi on Pine St.

I was a big fan of the old Eisay when it was located on Thames St. and was really excited when I heard that they were able to reopen on Pine St. I finally went today and the new place, now called ISE, is much more corporate elegant than the old spot. I liked the general decor but they really crowd all of the suits on top of each other in there.

Anyway on to the important part. The sushi was great. Even better than I remembered from the old location. They looked to be doing a brisk business at lunch so maybe the fish is even fresher now. Everything was pristine. I only ordered a sushi deluxe platter but I'll have to go back to try some of the cooked items. The best deal seems to be the daily bento box specials listed only on the Japanese side of the daily menu.
The neighboring table had ordered them and everything looked beautifully cooked. Cleanly fried oysters, tuna sashimi, and some other nice side dishes.
