I've been reading quite a bit of food writing lately and wanted a forum in which to discuss some of these works. Thus a book club devoted to food writing was born. Right now, we have 3 (all members are from this board) and are looking for 3 more, ideally.
For our first meeting, we had a fun and spirited dinner at Le Charm in the city last week and discussed AJ Leibling's Between Meals. If we can coordinate to meet in a restaurant that serves good food at reasonable prices every 6-8 weeks, that would be great.
We haven't determined our next book yet and want to increase the size of the discussion group before proceeding. If you're interested, please email me.
