ingredients for vietnamese coffee?

I've recently returned from two weeks in the Roppongi neighborhood of Tokyo, where the Vietnamese coffeehouse chain Trung Nguyen put its first overseas branch. Trying to replicate it now that I'm home, I brought back a Vietnamese coffee drip filter and some coffee, but I'm running out. So what are the right ingredients?

COFFEE: Others on the board have suggested using Cafe du Monde with chicory. Are there other brands that I could find in Asian supermarkets (I live in SF) that would be better?

MILK: Evaporated or condensed milk? What is the difference? And which brand works best?
