Ingredients-n-Craft is a new restaurant on George Street in New Brunswick which we stumbled upon during our last trip to George Street Playhouse. It's the former Daryl's I believe it opened in early March. They seem to use both Ingredients-n-Craft as well as INC as the name.
Offerings included burgers, sandwiches, tacos and other small plates as well as a few entrees. I had the short rib/brie paninni, husband had the blue cheese burger. Both were enjoyed. Portions were not huge but I liked that. I'm one that doesn't want a 1/2 lb hamburger. Plus it leaves room for dessert. We split the Irish Car bomb sundae - (guinness brownie, irish whiskey caramel, bourbon
walnuts, fresh vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate sauce). That was one I wish there had been a bite or two more.
They have 70+ whiskey's available, mostly bourbons but some Scotch, Irish, Canadian as well. I enjoyed the bourbon Old fashion cocktail. It was available in rye as well.
Service was friendly and quick.
I look forward to this as an option for pre-theater dining.
