Last second info for the Teevy Reward/Internationa Plaza

Vital Information | Sep 7, 2003 08:57 AM

Someone asked me to post the info one last time as I have been less that accurate in assorted postings:

LOCATION - The International Plaza/Mall is a series of three shops in a very ugly, very modern building on Pasquinelli drive just around the corner from Ogden Ave/IL route 83. If you are coming from the West, you will turn left from Ogden onto Pasquinelli. If you are coming from other points, you will generally come from the Interstate (88) and then head south on IL 83. Ogden is the first stop light from the expressway. You will turn right and then turn right almost immediately onto Pasquinelli. As you drive up Pasquinelli you will see a Triple Crown Seafood restaurant in the same area and the Diho supermarket.

TIME: I believe I have said at various times, 12:30 and 1 PM. We are heading to the place straight from the kids sunday school, which ends at 12ish, hence we will be there sometime between 12:30 and 1.

HOW TO MEET - I will suppose we will congregate around the entrance to the mall/by the elevators just inside malls. When enough people come or when the VI family hooks up with he Dickson D family, we will commence ordering.

WHAT WE WILL ORDER - My thinking is that we will just get a range of dumplings, vegetables, tofu, pancakes, donuts and other assorted specialties and share, family style. If someone wants the Vietnamese food, they will be on their ordering own.

COSTS - While I cannot give a final/accurate figure, it should be around $10-15 per person to eat like a pig. My guess is that it will be on the lesser side. In addition, we are asking that everyone pay $10 street tax to be forwarded on to Chowhound, Inc.
