Influx coffee shop in Golden Hill - SD

I finally made my way to Influx on Broadway in GoldenHill. I must say I was delighted. It was beautifully decorated with a minimalist approach: no pictures on the wall, wood floors and an industrial looking backdrop to the kitchen, but once seated, I was very comfortable and warmly enjoyed my relaxing morning. I had a great cup of their dark roast coffee, which I understand is roasted locally by Cafe Motto. I also had a fresh blackberry muffin, which could very well be the best muffin I have ever had. It was moist and tender with large berries throughout(most I have had are either too dry or too sweet). My husband had the cinnamon roll which started with a flaky exterior and had a moist center. We were both very pleased. They also had a larger breakfast (eggs and bacon) and lunch menu (sandwiches) in addition to all the pastries they make on site.

I understand this place has only been open since September by a young couple who live in Golden Hill. If you enjoy coffee shops, this one is a find. I am a bit of a coffee snob and I will be returning here again.
