I have been placed in charge of organizing a birthday dinner for 10 for this tuesday. It a tricky assignment because entrees really need to fall in the max 10-15 dollar range and the cuisine cannot be italian, french or american. Asian is most prefered. The other problem is I would ideally love a place with a nice bousterious birthday atmosphere. Nothing necesarily hip per se, but lively. Location isnt that important if convenient by subway (ie Kasadela is out), though if all else was equal up town would be better. So far my only idea was Grand Szechuan which works on all fronts except for the lively atmosphere (maybe some would disagree). I always thought perhaps congee village? Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks for the help!
