Induction with baking pans

StripesWaterkat | Feb 26, 201811:00 PM     9

I'm planning a buffet meal for friends and testing my first induction burner. I'm getting used to it, but of course aluminum pans won't works with it and I can't afford expensive 100 dollar steel pans. I tested a basic, 10 dollar, 18x12 baking pan with a magnet and it should work, just concerned about it ruining the pan. Does anyone know if this is viable for cooking large quantity and as a water pan for the buffet? Thanks.
