I love Indian food but so much of what I eat of it in NYC is dumbed-down.
Yesterday, I tried Bombay Kitchen (120 MacDougal Street, near West 3rd) and told the owner I really wanted the food spicy. He recommended I try the samosa chaat.
I took it home and it was DELICIOUS, very fresh-tasting and very spicy. Just the way I like it! And it only cost $3.99 for a nice portion.
Give this place a try. We need more places like this in NYC.
