Indian food--East 30s vs. Jackson Heights?

camille | Apr 2, 2003 06:12 PM

My dad's coming into town this weekend--he's Bengali and I want to take him for the best Indian food we can get (doesn't have to be a fancy place--just good). I'm definitely taking him to Jackson Hgts., but he'll be staying on East 42nd St. Is it worth taking him to the Indiatown in the East 30s--any great places there? (Again, it can be a hole in the wall, the food must just be authentic, and if they serve Bengali food, that's a plus!)

Thanks in advance!
