India Cook House - review

We went to India Cook House last night. I don't know why we don't go more often, since it is within walking distance of our house and we don'thave to brave that awful parking lot. We had the tandoori combo dinner - finally Indian food that actually comes with rice and naan. It was a terrific dish of chicken, fish, lamb chunks and shisk kabob on a bed on onions. We also ordered the garlic shrimp which was outstanding. I think there must be a garlic shortage in Irvine today, they used so much of it in the red curry accompanying the shrimp. It was probably the best shrimp I have ever eaten. After dinner we waddled down to Assal bakery and picked up a couple of fruit tarts and napoleons. The tarts were wonderful - haven't tried the napaleons yet due to lack of room.
