Hi, all. Just wanted to mention, I recently had dinner with a couple of friends at Imperio Inca (Peruvian food) on 21st Street across from Gene Walters Marketplace. I loved it. I had an avocado salad (okay, just avocado added to a regular dinner salad with a tasty vinaigrette) and the Inca Ceviche - two flavors of lime-marinated fish served with cooked cold rounds of sweet potato and white potato, cold cooked corn (very large kernels - a type I hadn't seen before) and toasted corn. It was so good, I tried to make some at home and was somewhat successful, but I need to go back soon.
btw, they offered a *very* spicy side green sauce that one could add or not to the food. It was good, but *really* hot, and I like hot food.
