I had lunch with a group of people there on Friday. For infrequent visitors to Halifax, this is their "new" location down the street and on the opposite side from where they were originally, as of about 2-3 years ago. It is much roomier and looks a bit more upscale.
I am pleased to report it was still excellent. I had their wild mushroom soup which remains one of my all-time favorites, along with a selection of antipasto from their display case. Others had various pastas which were well-received, and a couple had their seafood "stew" which looked and smelled fantastico. It isn't all that cheap (most entrees were from $11 to $17) but the food (and excellent service this day) make it well worth it.
