identifying a Belgian beer by its glass

auberginegal | Sep 28, 200604:29 PM     10

I was in Brugges last year at a bar that served 300 different types of beer. I lost track of all the amazing ones I had there, but as each belgian beer has its own glass, I think I could figure out at least a couple of them, if I had pictures as reference.

Does anyone know if there is a website that shows lots of Belgian beer glasses along with the names of the corresponding beers?

There's a couple in particular I'd like the name to - I will try to describe the glasses, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

1) A dark beer served in a bulbous test-tube like glass - as the bottom is round, it cannot stand on its own and comes in a wooden stand

2) A blonde beer that is served in a large tullip (ballon) shaped glass with a fleur-de-lis etched into it.
