Ideas to enhance flavor of salmon patties

This morning, wooed by a large can of pink salmon for $1.47 at the local Walmart Supercenter, I decided to, once again, make salmon patties for lunch.

I drained the salmon a bit, added an egg, lightly seasoned cracker crumbs, cayenne pepper, a sprinkle of dill, black pepper and Old Bay Seasoning and fried them in a non stick skillet with cooking spray and a pat of butter. They held together nicely but, I always notice the taste of my salmon patties rarely rise above the level of "ordinary."

Any ideas to enhance their palate appeal?
