- Parfaits @ L'maison du Chocolat, Picadilly
Noticed the sign with their "new" parfaits and gave it a try. The layered ice cream concoction is pretty good, but nothing mind blowing (unlike the wonders at L'artisan du chocolat). Pistacchio ice cream with chopped pistacchio (softened as it was preassembled) in a classic combination with raspberry sorbet (very tangy), their interactions mediated by a layer of good chocolate ice cream.

Very nutty and flavourful pistacchio, fairly dense (more chewy than Scoop's rendition) but quite smooth. Excellent stuff. If the paper cup is accurate, it's from Danielli's.
