Not too impressed at all, Overpriced, tangible version of Clementine and that ilk.

chocolate croissant 4 bucks and not half as good as the one at annisette. orange juice for 4.75 for a small, large a 3 dollar upgrade. a tiny sweet crostata for 9 bucks. am i missing something and am i going crazy or is this supposed to be the New Deal in Santa Monica. what ever happened to the people's republic?

anyhow, all in it was over 15 bucks plus tax and tip for a croissant, small o.j. and a tiny tub of chocolate pudding.

i guess it's all for the north of montana set. alas, i've never tried famous pastry chef zoe nathan's creations at rustic canyon. but this surely can't be it.
