Hubig's Pies in New York City?

Sean McNally | May 18, 2005 11:36 AM

Does anyone know whether Hubig's Pies are sold anywhere in New York City? It's been a few years since I've been to New Orleans, and I'm hoping to at least get that close.

For them what don't know: Hubig's Pies are these marvelous fresh made, no preservative versions of a Hostess or Drake's fruit pie, you pick 'em up at checkout counters in Louisiana. They may predate Hostess or Drake's, dunno, been around since 1922 or thereabouts. I don't really care about their history right now, I'm just hoping to find the pies.
