I'm looking for a rich, chocolatey sauce to pour over ice cream.
What's better - a recipe for Hot Fudge Sauce or Chocolate Sauce?
Here's one recipe using cocoa:
1 pint of cream
2 cups sugar
3 T. cocoa
And another using chocolate:
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup light corn syrup
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
6 ounces bittersweet (not unsweetened) chocolate, chopped
Here's a recipe w/condensed milk:
4 (1 oz.) squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate
2 T. Butter/Margarine
1 (14 oz.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT Evaporated)
1 tsp. Vanilla
How will the taste and texture of recipes like this differ? Which one of these or other recipes will make the best sauce?
