Folks, carnitas by the pound here are 6.49 pulled apart, chopped hot per order and moist and enough for 8 house made tacos. At that price, it's pretty unbeatable and they're delicious. They don't crisp them up in a pan, so essentially it's a lightly salted well roasted moist melt in your mouth mess o' shoulder. You want it seasoned with vinegar / red pepper carolina style for 11 bucks a pound, head to Curly's on 29th or easily prep at home and warm it up in a saucepan, put it on a bun with slaw for carolina style sandwiches. Carolina sauce is no secret, generally it's a cup of cider vinegar, a tsp of molasses, 1/2 tsp or so of tabasco, and a 1/2 tsp or more red pepper flakes. so good.
