We will be stopping over in Hong Kong for basically three days in June. It will be our first time there. Right now, we have reservations for one night, for dinner at Lung King Heen. I read the recent discussion on it, and it sounds like (please correct me if I am wrong) that it will be good, but don't expect perfection. Hopefully, a good meal though. But where else to go ?? Or should I be changing that to something different? I have read everything I could find on this board, but there are so many possibilities that I am having trouble getting a handle on it. Is there a more casual Cantonese or perhaps seafood restaurant that you would recommend? Or someplace, where within a small area, you could get a variety of "street type food", like noodles or roast meats? Am trying to vary what we are eating, so didn't necessarily want to stick to the big hotel type Chinese restaurants.
Also, want some dim sum (which I have always wished you could get for dinner). The menu at Fook Lam Moon sounds good to me, but from the posts here, the service sounds kind of marginal?. So would you recommend there or some place else? I tend to prefer more traditional food, not usually much a fan of "fusion" type cuisines.
Thank you very much in advance for any help, advice, or ideas!
