My soom-to-be husband and I are planning to honeymoon in Nothern Italy this November. We have no set itinerary yet - and since food is of primary importance to us we'll probably plan around where we want to eat.
Can any fellow hounds recommend any once-in-a-lifetime restaurants we should hit or any hidden gems or things we absolutely must try in the various regions while we're there? We welcome any and all suggestions!
Also - my goal before I die is to learn to cook as many world cuisines in their home countries as possible. Have any of you done this sort of thing in Italy? There are so many Italian culinary vacations out there it's hard to know which to choose. I'd like to know the one we end up at is up to chowhound standards. Places that offer courses that range anywhere from 2 days to a week would be great!
