I'd love to hear from those of you who make homemade umeshu and/or flavoured/infused vodka. How do you do it? What liquor brands and proofs do you use? What fruit works best? Talk to me about sweeteners! How long do your concoctions sit for optimum results?
I've seen recipes but very few recipe reviews online, and it seems like I could waste an awful lot of money experimenting with this stuff.
Recipes and cookbook recommendations are much appreciated, too!
