Homemade gift basket for gift exchange

It is almost time for my family's annual family reunion in November. It is a casual event. One of the highlights is the gift basket exchange. The price limit is $25.00. I like to assemble my offering and I am thinking of two possibilities. One is a basket of locally produced items like jars of honey, some artisan soaps, and a bottle of red wine and a bottle of white. The other is a more family-friendly basket with jars of homemade salsa, pickled peppers and carrots and some fruit butters (one of blueberry and one of apple or pumpkin). What other small items would you add to either basket?
