Home Made Old Fashioned Non Shmancy PIE

They're talking about homemade pie on the Midwest board and it's getting my dander up.

I like Little Pie Company just fine, but that's not what I'm looking for right now. I crave, like, chocolate cream (or banana custard) pie. Blueberry pie with a thick, toothesome crust (slightly salty, with crunchy micronubs; I like lard but shortening's fine too). Good middle-American pie, with no shmancy touches. Even an unassuming Key Lime with graham cracker crust would sate this particular craving.

Briermere Farms in Riverhead's closed till memorial day. Anywhere in this town (or within a 6 hour drive, or available via mail order) where I can find what I'm looking for?
