I wanted to get participation up, and if the nomination thread was anything to go by, we're in a for a good month in September. In addition to the plethora of nominations, we had some good discussion about what makes a DOTM popular/successful. I think our slate of nominees reflects the results.
With 8 nominations, we have BOLOGNESE sauce. There will be no Bolognese police to tell you that mushroom Bolognese is not a thing. Feel free to be as creative or traditional as you please.
With 7 nominations, we have FATTOUSH. This would be a great one for transitioning from summer to fall veg.
Also with 7 nominations, our final candidate is BIBIMBAP. For those who can't resist an Asian dish, this is for you. It offers a lot of options and leeway on the vegetables selected, which makes it a flexible, seasonal option.
To vote for the dish of your choice, click the heart at the lower right of the comment below that corresponds to your selection. You may only vote for one dish. Please vote with the intention of cooking along should your choice become DOTM. Voting will close on August 31st at 5pm EDT.
