HNY: what did you nibble on NYE?

grayelf | Jan 1, 201501:04 PM     12

We had pork belly and cabbage rolls for dinner, both from Calabria Meats on Victoria Drive, which I can't recommend enough.

For snacks at our little gathering: D-Original's Matador sausage, duck and pork rillettes from Oyama, Scotch eggs from Calabria, six different cheeses from Les Amis (hello, mascarpone torta, my old friend), salsa from Topanga (another old friend), various chips including the rather fun Roulette where random chips among the nacho flavoured ones are flaming hot, four kinds of olives, cornichons, TJ's dark choc and pistachio toffee, a take on Indian "snacks" with chickpea and potato (these latter courtesy of friends), and the Cretor's caramel corn with Greek yogurt -- this must be gotten on sale as it is pricey. Crackers and bread from Terra used as conveyances.

ETA: I posted this on my home board but if anyone from elsewhere stumbles on it, please chime in!
