Hill COuntry - Review

princeofpork | Aug 16, 200710:55 AM

Just got back from lunch at HC. I have been to about 40-50 different BBQ joints around the country and consider myself very educated when it comes to BBQ.
We got the Lean and Moist brisket for comparison, beef ribs, pork ribs and the jalepeno sausage.
I can confidently say these were the BEST beef ribs I have ever had. I am not normally a fan of beef ribs but these were so flavorful and moist I couldn't believe it.Regarding the brisket, I know one type says lean but dont think that means dry because it was super moist and delicious. I liked this better then the "moist" which was a little too fatty for me. The sausage was just OK, nothing special. The greenbean casserole side was excellent as well.
I was very impressed with the food but lunch for 3 cost us $90, ouch. The Red Sky soda was way too sweet.
