Hiking in PA - Need Picnic Lunch

Heatherb | Jul 4, 200905:31 AM     3

Sorry to post this so late, but on Sunday (July 5) I'm going on a hike with my best friend. She's mostly vegetarian, but will eat seafood. I am an omnivore with carnivorous tendencies. We're going to the Russell Stover park close to the river on the PA side - it's north of Erwinna, PA, and we're getting there from the Ewing/Pennington area. We would love to pack an elaborate picnic lunch and take a leisurely hike. The best choices for lunch that we can come up with are deli sandwiches and snacks from Pennington Quality Market or Wegmans, and I was wondering if anyone had a better suggestion. I will have a cold pack so stuff like mayo and cheese should be fine. Thanks!
