A few weeks ago someone on the board complained about Higgins burger accompanied by salad and having no fries/potatoes option. At the time I said "just ask them to sub the salad with the potatoes". (They have done it for me in the past.) Well - no more. Last night I craved a top burger with some kind of potatoes. The waitress said "we don't sub the salad". I offered to pay a little extra and she said "we'll see what we can do". What they were able to do was: 1. Not deliver the salad. 2. Charge full price for their fingerlin potatoes. I must admit that the burger was very good ($11 with blue cheese) and the fingerlin potatoes were excellent ($8.5). But the price ($19.50) for burger & "fries" crave was too steep. So until they reconsider their flexibility, it's back to Castanga Cafe for top burger and fries.
