Herbsaint for lunch v. dinner

Will be taking a quick Saturday-Monday trip to New Orleans in a few weeks. We've been to Herbsaint once before for dinner, and it was one of our favorite meals of 2012. The duck confit was probably the best single dish of anything I had that year. Herbsaint, of course, is not open on Sundays, so Saturday dinner would be our only dinner opportunity there. However, we have yet to try Brigtsen's, which during our stay is also only open for dinner on that Saturday evening timeslot.

Herbsaint is also open for Monday lunch. However, it appears the menu is much less extensive, especially on the entree front, and skews more towards sandwiches and such (although a few "dinner-style" entrees remain). Notably, the duck confit is not on the lunch menu. Is the lunch experience there still worthwhile enough that it would make sense to go instead of Saturday dinner so that we can experience Brigtsen's? Again, Herbsaint dinner was one of our all-time favorite meals, so I would hate to give up too much of that complete experience unless substituting in their lunch wouldn't be too much of a sacrifice.

If we were to stick with Herbsaint for dinner, we would probably do Peche, Cochon (which we've been to before) or Atchafalaya for Monday lunch. We have Commander's Palace slotted for Sunday brunch (doesn't the style of food here overlap significantly with Brigtsen's - that could also help inform this choice).
