The Heights in St. Louis

A month or so ago, someone posted about a restaurant called The Heights in St. Louis at the corner of Jefferson and Shenandoah and recommended the Sunday buffet brunch. We tried it this past Sunday, and have to agree with the former poster. Very, very good food, and for the price of $8 per person, a deal you just can't beat. It's on the corner in an old rehabbed building that is wonderful because of all the loving care that's been put into it. Just love to see people take old bombed-out places and turn them into wonderful welcoming establishments. Was also glad to find out The Heights has been around for over a year now, so it must have repeat customers. Our waitress was very cool and showed us a dinner menu, and it looks yummy, too. Will have to try their dinner sometime. Very friendly staff there. Why go to a cookie-cutter chain restaurant when you can go to a unique independent place like The Heights? Check it out and see if you like it, too - we recommend it!
