Heaviness of a second seder

Something in me just rebels at digesting Brisket at 10:30 pm this year. I'm thinking of changing my traditional second seder menu and trying a set of mostly room temperature small dishes instead. Has anyone done this? Were guests appalled? May I ask what you served?
