Hey Ch'ers! Here's the deal. Myself and a companion will be visiting NYC Sept. 20- Sept 26. We already have reservations for three relatively indulgent meals throughout the week. I am hoping to keep the rest of the food we consume while in town relatively healthy as I will continue traveling the two weeks post NY in Mississippi and North Florida before landing in IN and having to wear a second skin bridesmaid dress. Aagh! Naturally, I have no interest in being deprived and I am CERTAIN there must be flavorful, satisfying, and healthy options all over town. I know for certain we will be spending one day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art so I would really appreciate a healthy recommendation hopefully within a 40 minute walk of the museum(part of the stay slim plan being hoofing it as much as possible, haha). We are also looking for recommendations of really good and healthier places to hit in and around Chinatown and Greenwich Village. Price is not super important, but considering the three reservations we've made are at more expensive places I'd like to keep it as reasonable as possible. We love all food, especially Thai and Indian, but are not crazy about sushi. I have perused previous threads for healthy restaurant rec.s and one that came up repeatedly was Angelica's for lunch. Is this place worth checking out? We fully intend to be on the go 24/7 while in town and will basically go to any length for good and healthy food. All help is greatly appreciated!
Also, if you recommend a specific dish at a restaurant definitely let me know.
