Heads up: Phoung Anh on Long Point in Houston

A few months ago I posted a couple of times singing the praises of this place. Unfortunately, its seems to have slipped downhill.

The food is still pretty good, but not as excellent as it was (say... slipping from a 9 to a 7). The service, however, is GONE. It has been regularly taking me 25-30 minutes to get my lunch after ordering. The other day, I called 20 minutes ahead to put my order in (they knew who I was), explained that I was in a hurry, and asked if they could have it ready when I got there.

I showed up, and it took 25-30 minutes to get my food.

Oh yeah, and the first table we sat at had a dying twitching roach on its back on the table.

Sooo... I've got to take this place off my "A" list.
