Heading to Montreal by way of NYC next weekend and feeling overwhelmed and under-prepared!

theboywonder | Mar 23, 201510:16 AM

Gf and I will be arriving from NY late, like around midnight-1am late and staying at the Hotel Quartier des Spectacles until Monday.

Are there any nearby, late-night drink/food places for when we arrive?

The following is tentative and we are considering changing one of the reservations as my gf is a slightly picky-eater.

Saturday:

Breakfast - Jean Talon Market

Lunch - Lemeac

Dinner - Liverpool House (7pm)

Sunday:

Brunch - Lawrence (before 10am)

Lunch - Schwartz's

Dinner - Au Pied de Cochon (7pm)

One, of both, nights will consist of some late-night poutine at La Banquise.

Is there any "can't miss" options that I am missing and do you need reservations for brunch? Any insight here would be great!

Lastly, if anyone can give advice on WHAT TO DO while we are there. Outside of food, drinks, I am unsure of how to get around and where to go. I know the metro is great, but I am completely clueless on what a nice weekend could/should entail. I know it will be fairly cold next weekend, but we aren't afraid to bundle up.

Thanks so much!!
