I finally dined at Harvest Vine after many months of trying to coerce my friends to join me. (I'm the only chowhound in my circle, and am sometimes alone in my quests.) I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, but didn't love it as much as I expected. We had the olive dish - definitely a revelation; I've never had olives with a cinnamon finish, the tuna salad, the spinach, the mushrooms and the pork loin. It was all quite good, but again, it didn't meet the praise I've heard. There are many of you who name HV as your fave Seattle restaurant. Why? Truly just curious, and wondering if I missed something. To me (and I know I'm about to unleash some controversy) it seemed like a really good restaurant but nothing on par with a great NYC or LA joint. Thoughts?
