Harris Ranch on I-5

After hearing lots of praise on this place, we decided to try it for ourselves. The place is big, lots of woods and beautiful inside. We came around 5 pm and after 10 minute wait, we were finally seated.

We got the beef vegetable soup. Just OK and nothing to write home about.

The complementary salad is nothing exciting either.

My wife ordered the pot roast. This was a mistake. The beef is a bit dry and not moist. Lack of flavor. The garlic mash potato is just OK. She did not finish it and I did not have any appetite for it either.

I ordered the highly recommended rib-eye steak, medium. This was juicy flavorful meat. Can't go wrong with the rib eye, really.

Overall, it's just an OK place to eat, nothing special. Price is acceptable, not too high or too low. Service is also decent here.

I wonder how their prime rib is. Because we did not order it and I think we made a mistake on ordering. We should have ordered their prime-rib. Anyone else care to comment ?
