Hi all! Will be heading to warmer skies this weekend and wanted some insight on good, authentic Cuban food near South Beach. (We'll be cabbing around, if that helps.) Are they all pretty much concentrated in Little Havana?
I've looked at the boards and the most popular suggestions seem to be Davids, Puerto Sagua, Versailles and Las Culebrinas. Any other thoughts? I'm interested in the food more than ambiance or "being seen."
If you have any other ideas on unique-to-Miami fare, please share! I'm interested in non-trendy, non-upscale, all-around good eats. Any spots with great food where the locals might wander....
Thanks in advance - can't wait to plant my feet in the sand!
