Those of us who work in lower Manhattan have long enjoyed the food from a truck that for at least the last two years has been parked on Front Street, just north of Wall Street, a block west of the East River. They have great roti (of course) plus a series of meat dishes with rice and peas (my favorite is the curry chicken) and doubles and meat patties. For giant plates of food, everything is $5 to $6.50.
Well, much to my chagrin, the truck's been missing for about the past week!!
Does anyone know why? Or perhaps at least know the business's name so I can look into it more fully? (I ask not just becuase my lunchtime options have been sadly diminished, but also because I'm a reporter, and have a professional curiousity about what might have become of the owners.)
