Halal Jerk - GOOD SPICY Jerk

manam | Dec 7, 200512:24 PM     3

Anyone know of any really good halal west indian restaurants in the Toronto area? I tried Jamrocks (at the corner of Markham and Ellesmere) bcos a friend recommended it and I was sorely disappointed. I am looking for a place that has spicy, fresh jerk chicken...I don't really if there's rice n peas...I just want the char grilled, spicy jerk.

I am willing to drive just about anywhere at this point to get it.

Also, a while ago, I had asked if anyone knew of a halal Sri Lankan place where i could get Mutton Rolls and Kothu Roti. A few mentioned Hopper Hut ant Kennedy and Ellesmere...unfortunately, they are not halal.

I stopped eating non-halal food a few months ago and now find myself craving things I could eat before but no more...

My God, what I would give to have a WHOPPER at BK??? Any halal joints that have really good burgers...outside of Pizza Land at Pharmacy and Ellesmere?

Help a sista out folks :-)
