Long ago I used to work at Burger King (ok, I'm not
proud to admit it) and I found that you could actually
make one hell of a good
burger if you are in total control of the process.
Ask for your burger "OTB" (off-the-broiler) and if you
have cheese on the burger, have them nuke it in the
microwave for about 4 seconds. Also, ask for any
condiments that aren't countable (like ketchup,
mustard, etc.) on the light side - otherwise it the
burger gets drowned in the stuff.
