GTA: Looking for cheap/inexpensive/value restaurants!

Hihi,

I'm new here, and wow - what a gem this place is. I apologize if this topic has already been covered, but my search-fu fails me :(

Ladyfriend and I are wannabe foodies. Well she's practically a foodie, I just like trying new things. However, we're both students, in a ton of debt swimming in bills so we don't exactly have the money to indulge on most of the yummy restaurants suggested here.

Though we'd gladly pay up to, and beyond $50+ on a dish ... we don't really have that luxury as of yet. So I come to you in asking for your top cheap/inexpensive/value restaurants that have delish food worth trying/going back to.

I'd like your top recommendations in these categories (per dish, not full meals):

<$10 - practically fast food
$11-20 - where most of our outings should occur
$20-30 - when we wanna feel like royalty once in a blue moon

Feel free to list as many as you wish, but please note the cuisine and a recommended dish.

Our favourite cuisine is French, (we live right by Le Paradis and it seems to slot quite nicely in the $11-20 range) but we're up for trying anything.

The only restriction (not set in stone) is that we have a (somewhat controversial) diet/lifestyle we're trying to stick to. We're trying to live primal ... so that means high-fat, no grains/carbs, if that's possible.

So that rules out sugars/HFCS, pasta, rice, legumes, and starchy vegetables ... but we've cheat days so if there's a killer dish that's mainly carbs we'll binge once in a while.

Thanks in advance, and looking forward to reading the responses!
