My husband and I ate at Grotto Friday night and were very pleased with our experience! The restaurant is small and cozy with a funky vibe. Since it was such a chilly night my husband had the fontina fondue and I had an appetizer protion of the Ricotta cavatelle pasta, house prepared sausage, pancetta, peas, mushrooms, and cream. Both were very delicious and the sausage in the pasta dish was divine. For entrees, I ordered the Tuscan Crispy Chicken and hubby got the gnocchi with the short rib and gorgenzola. Both were delicious, but I made a concious effort to only eat half of my meal and save some for lunch the next day. For dessert we split the banana bread pudding which was to die for with some creamy ice cream on top (not sure what flavor, very subtle and nice). All in all it was a very nice meal and cost $100 with four drinks, two appetizers, two entrees, one dessert and one fancy coffee. Will definitely be going back! One question...where are we supposed to park when eating there? We parked out front and ended up getting a $40 ticket! There was no sign near where we parked, but the ticket said resident only...can anyone enlighted us to the right place to park? Thanks!
