Green Ginger Wine

butterchicken2nan | Feb 16, 200711:33 AM     8

A thread on the UK board about local products reminded me of this wonderful stuff. There are two major brands I know of Stone's and Crabbie's - the wine is mildly alcoholic and is used - in Scotland anyway - as a mixer with whisky to create the sublimely warming 'whisky mac'.
But it has other uses - one of my faves is to pour it over ice-cream.
I've never tried it but I imagine it would make a phenomenal milk-shake/lassi drink too.
Any other ideas?
