M Cafe de Chaya has several new salads on their summer menu. I tried the garbanzo beans with dandelion greens, pretty good but not great. But the sea vegetables salad is amazing -- not just the standard sushi bar type seaweed but all different kinds mixed up with some clear noodles and some edamame. If you like seaweed, it's a must. They also had a nice-looking curried cauliflower but I didn't get to try it. Oh, and whoever was looking for seaweed to make their own salads, I was just at Mitsuwa downtown and they have many varieties of dried seaweed, but it's on the pricey side.
