Opposite the Rosedale subway station, on Crescent Avenue, there's a little cafe called the Black Camel. They opened a few months ago, serving great espresso and some very tasty sandwiches. The menu is small with only a handful of high-end sandwiches and condiments, all served on the same Portugese bun.
Every month they have a special sandwich - the March one is killer. So assuming you don't mind shelling out $8 for a sandwich, you can treat yourself to medium-rare slices of flank steak with sauteed onions, arugula and chipotle mayo on a yummy bun. For the money, the filling should be more plentiful but the quality of the ingredients and the taste are a real great. Enjoy.
PS - No signage out front other than a banner of a black camel.
